Email received from the Honorary Secretary of Kingston Bagpuize & Southmoor Bowls Club following their use of one of our rinks for a County Ladies Pairs competition on 24 July 2021.
Dear Joan
I wish to express my sincere thanks on behalf of all the Ladies who played their County Competition at Trentham and all the Club members who made us so welcome,
Your hospitality offering Kim and Mary tea before Liz and I arrived was very much appreciated. The President showing us into our parking space, we felt very honoured, and rink2 reserved for us and no rink fees. Helping us with our bowls bag and sorting the rink without any of us having to do anything. Following the game a table was laid up for a welcome cup of tea and cakes with the bar being available if required. Not even allowed to do the washing up. The friendliness of all the Club members that was shown to us was second to non. If only I lived close to the Club I know where I would apply to join.
Once again thank you so so much for all the kindness shown.
